Shooting the Sun is a 15 song CD released in 2003. A difficult lesson in doing one's homework...or not. It is a solo project done over the course of 8 years (1995-2003). I didn't want to use my name (William or Pari) at the time and opted to just use STS in the hopes that a band would form around the effort. Hah. So after I released it, turned out there were already at least 2 other acts on the planet performing and composing as STS. One being an acoustic trio out of Germany or Austria and another a hip-hop fellow out of Atlanta, Georgia. Hello.
16 musicians (friends and strangers alike) contributed to the record. I met some great people in the process. Quite a ride.
